Chicago White Sox slugger Adam Dunn was an investor in the much-celebrated film "Dallas Buyers Club" and even had a small cameo as a bartender. As The Stew told you last week, Dunn left White Sox spring training camp to attend Sunday's Academy Awards, where "Dallas Buyers Club" was up for six awards.

The film had a strong showing, as Matthew McConaughey won the Oscar for best actor while Jared Leto won best supporting actor. "Dallas Buyers Club" also won for best makeup and hair styling.

It turns out that Dunn's friends at the White Sox had a strong showing too. As re-decorators. Dunn returned to White Sox camp in Arizona on Tuesday to find the red carpet rolled out for him:

Dunn was impressed. He told's Tyler Emerick

"I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I was really expecting something. I just wasn't expecting something that good."

There aren't awards for best clubhouse shenanigans in baseball, but if there were, this would a favorite to take home a trophy this season.
