With the Boston Red Sox's ALCS win Saturday night, the 2013 World Series is now locked in. The Red Sox, who beat the Detroit Tigers in six games, will meet the St. Louis Cardinals, who beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in six NLCS games.

It's the 12th World Series appearance for the Red Sox, who last won played in (and won) the World Series in 2007. It's the 19th appearance for the Cardinals who also won in their last appearance, in 2011. It is, however, the first World Series appearance for each manager involved — John Farrell of the Red Sox and Mike Matheny of the Cardinals.

The two teams have met in the World Series three times before, most recently being 2004 when the Red Sox swept the Cardinals. The Cards won the previous two meetings, in 1946 and 1967.

Now, these two proud franchises will meet again to decide who takes home baseball's most important trophy. Here's the when and where:
