Remarkable behind-the-back basket results in 3-pointer for opposing team

You've probably heard the old basketball adage, "Never save the ball under your own basket," but you may not have heard the lesser known, "Never save the ball going out of bounds anywhere in 3-point range, because you may end up throwing it in the opposing team's basket."

This Colorado kid, participating in the Gold Crown Foundation's high school summer league, obviously hadn't been taught this valuable lesson, since he drained a behind-the-back triple for the other team.

Sure, he played picture-perfect defense, hustled like it was the last game of his career toward the loose ball and this might be the only time this has ever happened in the history of basketball, but still.

The video was posted on Instagram by Regis Jesuit junior guard Nolan Abel, No. 3 in red whose fantastic reaction to this bucket was a solitary finger raised to the heavens. No shame in his game.
