Pennsylvania's Pine-Richland High produces fantastic 'Best Day of My Life' lip dub video

After the "lip dub" sensation that swept high schools across the nation the past couple years -- created by Vimeo founder Jake Lodwick and made famous by a 2010 episode of "The Office" -- it takes a heckuva lip dub video to capture Prep Rally's attention. And this is one heckuva lip dub video.

Organized and directed by Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland High senior Dave Randolph (somewhat of a YouTube savant) and recorded and edited by classmate Alex Lynch, the Rams put together an epic performance of American Authors hit "Best Day of My Life" throughout the school's hallways.

Randolph orchestrated every athletic program at the school, including Pine-Richland's nationally renowned cheerleading squad and Pennsylvania's reigning Class AAA state singles tennis champion Marlys Bridgham, in a wonderful video that blends comedy and all-out insanity (h/t USA TODAY). It almost doesn't even matter that some of the students lose track of the lyrics at times.

Randolph deserved a Best Director nomination for this thing, and same goes for Lynch with Best Editing, because that break in the middle with the golf team is spectacular. Of course the golf kids need it quiet. And be sure to stick it out until the end, because the student body's "I believe that we will win" chant and the prank they pull on the kid after the credits are both worth the wait. Bravo, Rams, bravo.
