The Michigan State-bound quarterback of perennial football powerhouse Detroit Cass Tech High has been jailed for allegedly body slamming a school security guard, according to WXYZ-TV (h/t Deadspin).

Police and Cass Tech coach Thomas Wilcher confirmed to WXYZ-TV what cell phone video appears to capture: In a hallway at the school, Jayru Campbell allegedly lifted a uniformed man off the ground and violently hurled him to the ground as fellow students revel in the commotion with some NSFW language.

Campbell, who guided Cass Tech to state titles as a freshman and sophomore, had already been suspended from school and barred from the opening game of his senior season for allegedly punching a Novi Detroit Catholic Central player after his team's 28-0 semifinal loss in the Division I state semifinals this past fall, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 187 pounds, Campbell is a four-star QB recruit who committed to MSU prior to his junior season. He is the ninth-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2015, according to Rivals.com.
