North Carolina soccer player scores incredible goal

The perfectly-timed bicycle-kick goal is a move you're more likely to see on a World Cup pitch than in a high school soccer game. And yet somehow, midway through the first half of a state playoff game, Heritage (Wake Forest, N.C.) High School junior Logan Shytle pulled it off from more than 15 yards out. He even managed to make it look easy.

As one of the defenders goes to collect the ball, you can see him tap the goalie's head as if to say, "There's nothing you can do about that one." If that's what he actually said, he was completely right. Shytle just timed it perfectly.

"That was probably my fifth bike of high school soccer," Shytle later told High School OT. "Finally one went in. In the game, you don’t think about it, you just hit it."

The goal gave Heritage a 2-0 lead over Leesville Road High School. Heritage led 4-0 by halftime and went on to win 5-1. Shytle has 22 goals in 19 games this season, but it's hard to imagine any were as sweet as this one.
