Georgia lacrosse game goes right to the buzzer

A buzzer beater in a lacrosse game? It's rare – but that's exactly how a high school game ended this week.

There were mere seconds left on the clock when Westminster School (Atlanta, Ga.) senior Harrison Fiveash scooped up the ball around his team's 45-yard line. With the game tied at 8-8, it looked like they'd be going to overtime.

But Fiveash ran across midfield and launched the ball towards the goal.

Just as the buzzer went off, signaling the end of the game, the ball crossed the goal line. The Roswell defenders signaled that it didn't count; that it hadn't crossed the line in time, but the referees ruled it a goal.
