Connecticut basketball coach unleashes epic pregame intro dance

It seems impossible that Bloomfield High (Bloomfield, Conn.) could have lost this game, right? Not after a Warhawks assistant coach pulled off one of the greatest pregame introductory dances in the history of basketball (h/t Barstool Sports). This routine is up there with Reggie Miller's Kidd 'n Play style strut and Rasheed Wallace's Carlton.

Somehow, I don't picture Gregg Popovich stomping the yard. But that didn't dissuade this unnamed coach, as Bloomfield head coach Gary Barcher stood with his back to the artful intro.

Sadly, the Warhawks did lose this game. The video, published on Instagram by user patdoylee22 in October, was taken before the school's state semifinal showdown against Valley Regional in March. Bloomfield blew a double-digit lead in the loss.

No word on whether Valley Regional coach Kevin Woods (Deep River, Conn.) twerked his way off the floor.
