Behind-the-back grab is serious catch of the year contender

Meet Hobart (Ind.) High senior Nick Bokun. He's a tight end, and he has really, really great hands.

Case in point: The catch you see above. Bokun and his Hobart teammates were taking on LaPorte (Ind.) High when the tight end found himself downfield, getting mobbed by a LaPorte defensive back.

While he had already drawn a pass interference penalty on the play, Bokun didn't let that stop him from making a spectacular play. Instead, he elevated, found a way to get his hands on the ball behind his defender's back, and then held on as the pair dropped to the turf.

The catch counted, which was a good thing as Hobart needed all the yards and points it could get. The Brickies -- who play at the Brickyard -- eventually rallied from a 14-point deficit to edge past LaPorte by a score of 27-21.

They can thank Bokun for two of the touchdown grabs in that comeback, though neither was as monumental as the grab he pulled in behind his defender.
