The week that was @ Devil Ball

Miss a day or two of the goings-on here at Devil Ball? No sweat, we've got you covered. Here are the highlights of what happened this week around these parts ...

• We got to play Augusta! Well, sort of. In a video game. It was still pretty cool.

• A couple of guys who actually will play at Augusta, Graeme McDowell and Ian Poulter, got into a bit of trouble when they decided to videotape their arrival.

• They weren't the only ones on the course this week, as escaping (alleged) home invaders cut across the course to dodge the five-oh.

• Oh, and we also ran down some stories of Masters heartbreak. Ouch.

• Some fine news: Ryo Ishikawa decided to donate all his 2011 prize money to Japan's relief efforts.

• Another one'a them Euros won a tournament. This time it was Martin Laird taking down the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Well done, Marty! And it was yet another week where the superstars didn't exactly step up. Time to earn those paychecks, big names!

• Oh, and when there's a winner, there has to be a loser. And Steve Marino has been that loser an awful lot. Will he ever win on the PGA Tour?

• Ross Fisher might have to choose between a green jacket and a baby. As long as he doesn't actually diaper the baby with the green jacket, he'll probably be cool.

• The LPGA's first major is now underway, and here's a breakdown of the field.

• Phil Mickelson opened up on the challenges of facing Tiger Woods and getting through tough times with his family in this long-reaching Parade interview.

• Oh, and that guy named Tiger? Yeah, he's not even close to competing yet.

Lobster-shell golf balls. Yep, they're a thing.
