The funny thing about Sergio Garcia is, every few months he becomes a relevant story. No matter if it's because he's winning, or struggling, or complaining, or even throwing a complete tantrum in a bunker at the PGA Championship, Garcia is still one of the most talked about golfers in the game.
And that sure won't change after the first round of the Thailand Golf Championship. While Lee Westwood was polishing off an incredible round of golf, Garcia was struggling to the tune of a 4-over 76, capitalized by this meltdown on the eighth hole. On the par-3, Garcia had already dumped a tee shot in the lake and on his re-tee, just missed the green. And then he decided he didn't want that iron anymore.
Pretty awesome helicopter by Garcia, which looking at his score, might just have been his best move of the day.
