Video: Bubba Watson shows us how it’s done, fires 62 at Doral

The PGA Tour is full of incredible talents, but there are a few guys on tour that, no matter how they're playing, are capable of stringing a bunch of birdies together on any given day and going low ... I mean, really, really low.

Bubba Watson is definitely one of those guys. The lefty bomber can work the ball in any direction, no matter how hard the wind is blowing. And he's not afraid to fire at the stick (if you don't believe me, just look at the dart he threw up on the par-5 eighth hole on Friday that led to an eagle).

After shooting a pedestrian 2-under 70 on Thursday, Bubba brought his "A" game to wind-swept Doral on Friday, as he torched the Blue Monster to the tune of a 10-under 62 that has him one ahead of the pack going into the weekend at the WGC-Cadillac Championship.

Watson hasn't been a name we've mentioned a lot in the early part of the season, but it's not like he hasn't been putting up solid finishes. He's yet to finish outside the top-20 in five starts -- including a T-5 at the Waste Management Open -- so you had to figure it was only a matter of time before we started talking about him picking up another tour title.

After two rounds at Doral, it's looking like this could be the week. He needed only 23 putts on Friday and is currently leading the field in driving distance (322.5 yards) and putting (1.423), and when you lead the field in those stat categories for the week, there's a pretty good chance you could be picking up one of those oversized checks and a shiny trophy at the end of the week.

The way Bubba's playing at the moment, he might want to consider making space in the courtesy car for a couple extra items, just in case.
