Wall: Give me King Louie! I actually liked him before the T-4 at the Bridgestone, so the strong week only reinforces the pick. Even though he missed the cut in his last three PGA Championship starts, I think his game matches up well with the Ocean Course. He's long off the tee, can handle playing in the wind (see his Open Championship win at St Andrews), and is incredibly consistent. Plus, he's been playing well of late with top 20 finishes in his last two starts. I'm expecting big things from Mr. Oosthuizen.
Busbee: Tiger Woods: Hey, what the heck. He's got as good a chance as anyone else at Kiawah. As unpredictable as the game is these days, Woods is a decent bet...heck, anybody who's got a handicap of 20 is a decent bet. Still, Woods knows pressure, he's gotten closer to success almost every single major post-Y.E. Yang, and he can play the percentages to stay close. As long as he can avoid that dreaded Sunday double-bogey, he ought to be just fine.
Last week: Busbee picks up his second straight win thanks to a T-19 finish from Bubba Watson at the Bridgestone Invitational. Wall decided to roll with "Mr. Meltdown," Adam Scott, in his first tournament following the British Open collapse and paid for it with a T-45 finish. Needless to say, that probably wasn't the best spot to pick the Aussie.
Current score: Busbee - 10.0, Wall - 9.0.
