You know what's wrong with golf these days? That awful Tiger Woods! No respect for the game! Cursing and throwing his clubs all about! Why can't he be more like that nice Irish chap Rory McIlroy, playing with respect and class? You never see him throwing a club, do you?

Yeah, well, that's got to be a Photoshop! Or ... or ... or he's using the Force, and he's actually drawing the club TO him! No matter what, he's not as bad as Tiger!

Yes, Rory McIlroy threw a club this week at the BMW PGA Championship. On the par-5 12th, his shot found a bunker, and his club took the heat. "I threw the club out of frustration," he said. "I was 2-under through seven and felt like I was playing well, and then I make four bogeys in five holes ending at the 12th. It's pretty disappointing."

The BMW was McIlroy's first European tournament in seven months, and he won't be sticking around through the weekend; he missed the cut after carding a 79 on Friday.

He wasn't the only Emerald Islander with problems. Padraig Harrington had even more problems, at one point taking three strokes to get out of a bunker and eventually finishing just a few spots above DFL.

Graeme McDowell got tagged with a two-shot penalty after his ball moved ever so slightly in the woods, while he was still several steps away. He wasn't certain the ball moved, but played it anyway, asking a local TV commentator to check the replay. He was penalized one stroke for the ball's movement and another for failing to replace the ball, a crucial penalty given that McDowell finished at plus-3 and the cut was plus-1.

James "The Lizard King" Morrison leads the tournament at 12-under, with David Drysdale and Luke Donald four strokes back in second.
