Rory McIlroy the clear favorite in Vegas to win FedExCup playoffs

Las Vegas oddsmakers aren't taking any chances with only one event remaining in the FedExCup. Even though Rory McIlroy isn't a mortal lock to walk away with the $10 million, his second straight playoff win at the BMW Championship ensured his place as the clear favorite to win the season-long cash-grab heading into the Tour Championship in Atlanta.

Las Vegas Hotel and Casino released its FedExCup odds earlier in the week with McIlroy leading the pack at 5-to-4. Tiger Woods, who's currently 3,232 points behind in second place, comes in at 4-to-1. Phil Mickelson at 13-to-2, Dustin Johnson at 12-to-1, and three golfers at 15-to-1 (Louis Oosthuizen, Brandt Snedeker, Lee Westwood) round out the top 5 to win the PGA Tour's most lucrative prize.

While it's easy to look at McIlroy's lead and assume he's going to win, don't forget that Bill Haas won the FedExCup and Tour Championship just last season from the 25th spot in the standings. Is it a longshot for someone outside the top 5 to win? Of course. But don't count out Luke Donald (40/1) or Sergio Garcia (50/1) just yet.

Here's a rundown of Las Vegas Hotel and Casino's top 10 to win the FedExCup (the rest of the odds come after the jump):
