A dry and fast Muirfield has been a good and bad thing for a lot of players this week at the British Open. The fairways are running as quick as possible, so it has allowed players like Tiger Woods to keep the driver in the bag and lean heavily on the long irons, but it's also baked the greens and made them so quick that players have complained about the conditions.

For Robert Garrigus, the conditions helped him make one of the better eagles you'll ever seen. The par-4 15th is playing 448 yards this week, but at this point, in these conditions, that's just a drive and a putt for a long hitter like Garrigus.

As you can see in the above Vine, Garrigus pulled putter from off the green and the ball rolled and rolled and rolled some more before finally dropping for an improbable eagle, matching the great Michael Phelps from a year ago.

Garrigus is going to miss the cut at Muirfield, but he might have given us the shot of the week at the Open.
