The Humana Challenge might be an event about fitness, but most golf nerds know it as the Bob Hope and that tournament is about one thing and one thing only; red figures. You have to go low often to have a chance at this trophy, so we figured we'd hit you with a few of our best numbers from the second round of the desert jewel. Here goes ...

-- Dustin Johnson had knee surgery in the off-season, and while this was his return event back to golf, it won't be his first to finish. DJ withdrew in the second round, citing a lower back pain. He was 4-over when he decided to call it quits.

-- We've all heard that rookie Harris English can bomb the ball off the tee, but want to know how straight the kid is? English averaged 343 yards PER DRIVE on Friday, and hit 86 percent of his fairways, meaning he could be Sergio 2.0, but longer. English carded a 62 in the second round and is currently three back of the leaders. The most insane part? English isn't even leading the field in driving distance.

-- Ben Crane is tied for the lead at 16-under with David Toms, but he isn't exactly doing it traditionally. Crane has made three eagles, 15 birdies, three bogeys and a double-bogey over the course of 36 holes. Over his first nine holes on Friday, Crane made just a single par. Helps that a lot of those scores have circles around them.

-- Ryan Moore wasn't going to let Crane outdo him in the insane round department. On Friday, Moore started out par-bogey-bogey and looked like he'd probably miss the cut, but played his next 15 holes 13-under to post 61 on the Nicklaus Private, a course record. He now sits just five back of the leaders.

-- A sign of the times? Phil Mickelson will most likely miss the cut at the Humana, the first time he has missed a cut at this event since 1994. Yikes.
