Check this out: Phil Mickelson took a few cuts in the batting cage at Fenway before Thursday night's Yankees-Red Sox game. (Naturally, he's a lefty.)
Mickelson's no stranger to baseball, having been mentioned a few years back in connection with a group looking to buy the San Diego Padres. And he appears at ease swinging at balls that are higher than 10 millimeters off the ground ... and moving. No word on how far his drives hits went, but five bucks says he tagged someone sitting in the left-field stands.
