There will be plenty of comparisons between the 2013 British Open and the 2004 Masters considering how Phil Mickelson was able to close out both championships.

In '04, Phil shot a back nine 31 at Augusta National and this Sunday, at Muirfield, Mickelson was able to post 32 on his inward nine thanks to four closing birdies over his final six holes.

How did both majors end? With Phil making a closing birdie on the final hole to snag his first of both championships.

The photo above was Sunday at Muirfield, but it brings us back to that moment in '04 when Mickelson rolled in that closing birdie putt to win his first green jacket.
