Accenture and Gatorade may be running away, but not every sponsor is. PETA, for instance, is glomming onto Tiger with that catchy little ad above. "Too much sex" doesn't exist anywhere but in cyberspace yet, but PETA is hoping to post it on billboards. The idea, of course, is to use the Woods scandal as a way to raise awareness of spaying and neutering your golfers -- er, pets.
Demonstrating a perspective that can be generously described as "optimistic," PETA activist Virginia Fort said, "We're sure Tiger will appreciate our attempt — from a story that's distracted the world and followed Tiger — to turn it into something positive for little tigers." Yes, because I'm certain Tiger would love to turn the crisis that has utterly destroyed his life into gimmick fodder for a public service announcement.
Besides, how can PETA be so sure he agrees with that slogan?
