Lee Westwood whiffs a golf shot during the third round of the Players Championship

You ever have those moments on the golf course where you hit a shot and think, "Man, even a PGA Tour professional would be happy with that one"? Well Lee Westwood had a moment on Saturday at TPC Sawgrass where he might be thinking the complete opposite.

Stuck up against a tree on the first hole at the Players Championship, Westwood went after his ball and completely missed, leading to a double-bogey and a pretty embarrassing start to his bid for the fifth major.

As you can see in the above video, Westwood hit the tree on the downswing, but it still counts as a pass at the ball and it was a tough, tough start for the No. 12 ranked golfer in the world.
