Las Vegas makes Tiger Woods the U.S. Open favorite
You knew this was going to happen. Just a couple of days after Tiger Woods won for the second time this year, the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino Sportsbook (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton) released updated U.S. Open odds with the 14-time major as the 11/2 favorite to win the second major of the year.
For those of you who had the faith to jump on the Woods train early, well done. Prior to the win (May 27), he was listed at 15/1, which was just behind 10/1 favorite Rory McIlroy.

After his third missed cut, McIlroy's now 12/1, which is just behind Woods. Other than those two changing places, most of the odds remained the same. With very few of the top players in the world making much noise ahead of the U.S. Open, don't expect a lot to change ... unless McIlroy wins, of course.
