Kevin Streelman gave away two Masters tickets to a random kid on Twitter

If there is one ticket in sports that trumps all else, it's a badge to the Masters. While it is a lot easier these days to get a ticket inside Augusta National, it still isn't what I would consider easy and normally will cost you a few hundred bucks just to get yourself and a family member inside the opening major of the year.

Kevin Streelman, the 2013 Tampa Bay Championship winner on the PGA Tour, is playing his third Masters this week, and had his parents with him to join the festivities at Augusta National. Both his parents are under the weather this Wednesday, meaning Streelman had two extra Masters tickets, and instead of finding a friend or a buddy of a buddy, he went to Twitter to give them out to a random kid that had never been to the Masters.

Here are his two initial tweets early on Wednesday morning ...

Streelman retweeted a couple of responses from some prospective parents with kids hoping to make it to Augusta on Wednesday, eventually settling on 17-year-old from Savannah, Georgia that had never been and hoped to bring his mom who also had never been.

Streelman responded to the tweet that Harrison Stafford was the winner, and now a junior that has never stepped foot on Augusta National is going to get to watch Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player knock it around at the Par-3 Contest along with a ton of other of the top names in the sport.

Think about that for a moment; you wake up, getting yourself ready to go to school as any 17-year-old would, and all of a sudden a PGA Tour player is giving you two tickets to the most famous golf tournament in the world.

Here is to hoping Stafford's principal is a golf fan and will give Harrison an excused absence for this turn of events that will be a memory this kid will remember for the rest of his life.
