EA Sports ‘Masters Historic Edition’ game looks awesome
I'll be honest, I'm not a video game guy. Never have been. The last time I sat in front of a television to spend hours on end with a controller in my hand Mario and Luigi were strapped in mini go carts.
But that might actually change with the latest addition to the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 video game. Yes, EA Sports has added a "Masters Historic Edition" that allows you to play Augusta National in 1934 and it looks awesome.

Electronic Arts Inc., announced today that fans will be able to step back in time with Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 14: The Masters Historic Edition. For the first time ever, users will experience Augusta National Golf Club as it was when the course played host to the very first Masters Tournament - what was known in 1934 as the Inaugural Augusta National Invitation Tournament.
The development of this exclusive feature was researched with meticulous detail in an effort to re-create the original 1931 design of world-renowned golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie and legendary golfer Bobby Jones.
I give video game creators a lot of credit for how real this stuff is now, but that video makes you actually feel like you went back in time. A very cool idea and definitely something golf geeks like myself will be all over when it comes time to purchase the least Tiger game.
