New York's Steve Smith was sidelined against Dallas in Week 10 due to a torn pectoral muscle, allowing third-year wideout Mario Manningham(notes) to have one of his better games since … well, since last year's explosion against Dallas.

Manningham finished with 10 catches, 91 receiving yards and one TD against the Cowboys, and he was targeted 16 times by quarterback Eli Manning(notes). That's twice as many looks as Hakeem Nicks(notes) received.

Smith is expected to be unavailable until December, and multi-year sleeper Ramses Barden(notes) is reportedly done for the year with an ankle injury, so Manningham should be peppered with targets in the weeks ahead. He's only owned in 66 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but clearly needs to be added in all formats.

New York's receiving corps will need to find some short-term help, because Duke Calhoun(notes) is the next name on the depth chart. (Sounds like a 19th Century oil magnate; is actually an undrafted rookie receiver. Here's a scouting report. Calhoun had exactly one nice moment in the preseason, playing alongside arena leaguers, but he hasn't yet recorded a catch in a game that counts). Exhibition superstar Victor Cruz(notes) is on IR with a hamstring issue, in case you're wondering.

Let's get to the target leader boards quickly, before Philly scores again…

One additional note: Check out that reception percentage for Larry Fitzgerald(notes). That's just tragic, entirely the result of unforgivable quarterback play. Fitz hasn't posted a reception percentage below 60.0 since his rookie year, and now he's at 48.5. Just brutal. The workload keeps him relevant in the imaginary game, but, well … ugh.

These were Fitz's reception rates prior to the current year: 63.4 percent in '09, 62.3 in '08, 60.5 in '07, 61.8 in '06, 62.4 in '05 and 50.5 in '04.

We're pining for the Josh McCown(notes) era at this point. Sad.
