Stream Police: Finding some weekend plays

Daily streaming is a way of life for the committed rotohead; let's see what under-50 percent arms we can find for Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, Sept. 15

The full Emanski endorsement
Kyle Kendrick at HOU — He was our double-dip coverboy for a reason.
Zach Britton at OAK — Nifty strikeout spike and the park is right.
Jarrod Parker vs. BAL — Hasn't hit the rookie wall yet.

Playable, depending on context
Jeremy Guthrie vs. LAA — He's been terrific since liberation from Coors.
Carlos Villanueva vs. BOS — The ERA is spiky but nifty WHIP; Red Sox no longer a concern.
Anibal Sanchez at CLE — Rounding back into form and Indians are in the tank.
Jaime Garcia at LAD — High-variance option; no result would be surprising.

Worth an aggressive play if you're behind
Casey Kelly vs. COL — Two crashes of late, though one was in Coors.
Samuel Deduno vs. CHW — Something seems fishy here but he's been effective.

Asking for Trouble
Barry Zito at ARI — Better of late but I never trust him.
Justin Masterson vs. DET — Too many crooked numbers, still has no lefty plan.
Ivan Nova vs. TB — Man, the Yankees are desperate

Sunday, Sept. 16

Make the Add
Andrew Werner vs. COL — Dandy curve, and Rockies don't hit much on road.
Daniel Straily vs. BAL — Oakland's pitching depth is ridiculous.

Stop and Consider
Matt Harrison vs. SEA — Not an easy play in Arlington, though numbers are reasonable (3.64/1.36, .277 BAA).
Mike Minor vs. WAS — Mr. Erratic, but does have 15 punchouts over last 12.2 innings.

How Bad Do You Need Innings?
Wily Peralta vs. NYM — A pitch-to-contact story; at least he'll be favored over New York's Young.
Scott Diamond vs. CWS — Control artist has been handy, though he faces Peavy here.
Jason Hammel at OAK — Tricky to project after the long layoff.

Longshot Cafe
Jeff Locke at CHC — Decent strikeout numbers in first two turns; unlucky in Houston loss.
Rick Porcello at CLE — No real faith in him, but at least he's up against Ubaldo (hit me) Jimenez.
