You should know the rules and lifelines by now. If we had a fresh Fantasy Football draft going off tonight, what would our cheatsheet look like? These are not weekly ranks, they are seasonal ranks, with the condition that the season begins in Week 9.

Bring your respectful disagreement to the comments, but please back up your stances with a strong line of reasoning. Further the conversation, gamer.

Comments: Schaub owners have legitimate reason for concern. He's ranked a pedestrian 17th in Y! scoring at the position, and Andre Johnson(notes) has been dinged up most of the year. The Texans don't have a second legitimate downfield threat. … The Lions have given fantasy owners a Top 10 passing game all year, no matter who the quarterback is. Stafford and Calvin Johnson(notes) were in tune for most of the Washington game, and the support targets here are better than you think. … I'd like to go higher on Orton but you have to wonder when the down-and-out Broncos might junk the season and give Tim Tebow(notes) a chance to learn on the job. … Palmer's season is a reminder that fantasy production and quality play in real life are two distinctly different things.

Comments: Charles owners are pining for an increase in workload, but Charles quietly has 80 touches in his last four games, with a floor of 15. It's not that Charles has shoved Thomas Jones out of the way, but there's been a mild shift here. … Everyone loves to pile on Norv Turner and often it's justified, but San Diego's backfield usage shouldn't be criticized. Tolbert is a nightmare to tackle at the goal line and on most Sundays he's outplaying Mathews. … Moreno showed juice over the last three weeks against a handful of tricky defenses (Jets, Raiders, Niners), and he's also got seven catches over the last two games. The lightbulb might be finally going off with him. … Brandon Jackson's touch count over the last four weeks: 15, 15, 16, 17. At least you know what you're getting into here.

Comments: Marshall is a monster between the 20s, but he's had trouble synching up with Henne in the red area. … Maybe Harvin should be outside of the Top 20; he's not 100 percent and he'll miss Randy Moss more than anyone else in Minnesota. … And as for Moss, Tennessee is for the most part a good landing spot. The Titans have a winning club and a strong personality at the front of things in Jeff Fisher; those are two essential pieces that can lead to an engaged Moss. Vince Young isn't the best quarterback for a Moss type, of course, but hey, can't have everything. … Owens has thrown Ochocinco out of the way in Cincinnati and it's not even close. For all of the distractions TO sometimes brings on the sideline and off the field, the guy plays his tail off between the lines.

Comments: Tamme should be owned in all formats, immediately; if you get open in Indy, Peyton Manning gets you the ball. … Shiancoe should pick up a few more targets with what's-his-name gone in Minnesota. … Daniels had trouble beating the jam against the Colts, dulling my enthusiasm a bit. … Lewis deserves a spot on the AFC Pro Bowl roster, and he's just about an every-week starter in our game, no matter that the Jaguars still underutilize him.
