Robinson was drafted by Seattle in the first round in 2001, and 11 of his 14 career touchdown receptions have been thrown by Matt Hasselbeck. The signing would not be entirely crazy, and Robinson will be worth a look in (very) deep leagues if/when he reenters the player pool.
This is definitely not good news for Robinson's knees, however. If Chicago is where receivers go to die, then Seattle is where they go to destroy ligaments.
In other Seahawks news, Hasselbeck has declared that you should bench him:
"I apologize to all the people who 'own' me, on their fantasy teams. They can put me on the bench, for a little while," the Seahawks' three-time Pro Bowl quarterback said Monday, using dry humor to deflect attention from his completion percentage of 45.5 through two games.
He's actually facing St. Louis in Week 3, so it's not the simplest call.
