With six teams on bye in Week 9, you could probably use some help filling holes on your roster. Two names to keep in mind on the waiver wire are St. Louis Rams receiver Tavon Austin and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston.
Austin had two touchdowns (one rushing and one receiving) in a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. He now has six combined receiving and rushing touchdowns through seven games and has also scored on a punt return. Austin was the team's leading receiver with four receptions for 98 yards against the 49ers and the Rams are continuing to look for ways to get the speedster the ball.
Winston struggled early the season but has settled down of late. He hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 5 and has a great matchup against the New York Giants, who just gave up seven touchdown passes to Drew Brees, coming up next. Over his last three games, he has a 4:0 touchdown to interception ratio and has also rushed for a score.
