Another week, another ridiculous Jamaal Charles highlight

Jamaal Charles was having a lousy afternoon on Sunday, at least for the first 24 minutes of clock time. He lost two early fumbles, one of which set up the Chargers at Kansas City's 5-yard line. Not his finest work.

And then he broke out this nastiness.

That's an early candidate for Run of the Year right there. Charles reversed direction Marcus Allen-style, then raced 37 yards for a score while various blockers erased would-be tacklers. Just a ridiculous play. Charles later added a 13-yard TD reception. He's up to 91 yards on 15 touches, with a quarter left to play.

Peyton Hillis is inactive in Week 4, sidelined by an ankle injury, so Charles is getting all the work he can handle. And as we learned last week, when Charles carried 33 times, he can tolerate a significant workload.
