Cristiano Ronaldo to play alongside Lionel Messi against alien invaders

When we last left the Galaxy 11 team that will play a football match against menacing aliens with the winner taking Earth, Franz Beckenbauer was recruiting Lionel Messi to captain the team in the most dramatic way possible. Since then, 12 other players from around the world have been named to the team, including: Mario Gotze (Germany), Oscar (Brazil), Wu Lei (China), Stephan El Shaarawy (Italy), Victor Moses (Nigeria), Radamel Falcao (Colombia), Lee Chung-Yong (Korea), Iker Casillas (Spain), Wayne Rooney (UK), Landon Donovan (US) and Alexander Kerzhakov (Russia). Now, the final member of the attack-heavy squad has been named and it's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Here are all of the odd selection videos in one playlist...

Ronaldo was found playing against a women's volleyball team and it seems they cut out the part where he says, "Messi gets to be captain?!?!?!" and then threatens to play for the aliens' team. That thing he talks into at the end of the clip is his Galaxy Gear watch phone thing, because product placement.

Now that the team has been selected, the ambitious Samsung campaign will next explain how each player was recruited and follow their preparations for the big match (which clearly isn't going to have much defending).
