LAS VEGAS -- Floyd Mayweather is a minus-270 favorite to defeat Canelo Alvarez when they meet in a hotly anticipated pay-per-view bout at the MGM Grand Garden for the WBC/WBA super welterweight championships.
Alvarez, 23, is 42-0-1, but has never fought anyone remotely close to as skilled as Mayweather. The long-time pound-for-pound king is 44-0 and was only in danger of losing once, in his first bout against Jose Luis Castillo in 2002.
In this video, I talk about what I believe a key for Alvarez may be in the fight. Beating Mayweather is a difficult task under any circumstance, but Alvarez may make it easier on himself if he adopts this tactic.
