Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has seen the good, the bad and the ugly from boxing. His talent helped him escape the projects in New York and earned him hundreds of millions of dollars.

He squandered much of his money, but was also swindled out of much of it.

He appeared as part of a panel to discuss boxing Thursday on Comedy Central's "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore," along with boxing manager Jackie Kallen, ESPN.com columnist L.Z. Granderson and comedian Keith Robinson.

The thesis of the talk was what is wrong with boxing, though it never got particularly in depth. But at one point, Wilmore asked Tyson what advice he'd give to an aspiring young boxer.

"Go to MMA," Tyson quickly answered.

The conversation wasn't particularly in depth and Robinson made a fool of himself by the way he dogged MMA.

At the end (which can be seen in the clip below), Wilmore asked Kallen, Granderson and Robinson who was the greatest fighter and told them they couldn't pick Tyson. But then Wilmore held up photos of famous boxers and mythical fighters and asked Tyson if he could beat them.

When Wilmore held up a photo of Muhammad Ali, Tyson said, "He wins."

To see all of Tyson's picks, including how he thinks he'd fare against Joe Louis, George Foreman and Jake La Motta, see the clip below.
