US PresswireSince New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw re-injured his surgically repaired foot halfway through the season, he has practiced about once a week, the New York Post reports.
He wasn't expected to practice with the team Wednesday so coach Tom Coughllin was surprised to see Bradshaw out on the field at practice, according to NFC pool reporter Peter King.
Bradshaw told trainer Ronnie Barnes that he wanted to be in on the first practice of Super Bowl week, King repots.
"I just hope he's OK tomorrow,'' said Coughlin, according to King.
"For the average person who stubbed their toe on the bed, he feels that way all day long," Giants running backs coach Jerald Ingram said, the Post notes.
The 25-year-old Bradshaw rushed for 659 yards and nine touchdowns this season, though he hasn't scored yet this postseason.
