It's a whole new fantasy football world - time to audible.

It’s time to make the adjustment, fantasy friends. Maybe it’s a fluke for the 2014 season, but for the savvy fantasy owner (like myself) you have to switch gears. It seems the dominant days of the fantasy running back have given way to an elite group of high-scoring pass catchers.

In fact, 11 of the top 21 fantasy producers through four weeks are receivers. The Top 5 position fantasy performers in 2013 we’re all running backs.

Here’s what 2014 looks like, so far (standard scoring):

1.      DeMarco Murray, RB, DAL – 85.20 pts (602 yards, 5 TD)

2.      Antonio Brown, WR, PIT – 75.38 pts (437 yards, 5 TD)

3.      Jordy Nelson, WR, GB – 64.90 pts (459 yards, 3 TD)

4.      Le’Veon Bell, RB, PIT – 64.00 pts (570 yards, TD)

5.      Steve Smith, WR, BAL – 62.90 pts (429 yards, 3 TD)

Sure, injuries have been a factor. But that’s why fantasy owners need to re-think their approach. This doesn’t mean draft Antonio Brown ahead of DeMarco Murray next season, but you have to adapt.

My advice: Start stockpiling wideouts and flex at-will. LeSean McCoy, Eddie Lacy, and Jamaal Charles are still must-starts when they’re healthy. This season, though, it seems the likes of Julio Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Antonio Brown will lead us to fantasy greatness.
