On the Hoof: This is a very lean athlete with plenty of room to add muscle mass. He has the build of a smaller point guard.
Needs Improvement: The biggest thing he needs to improve is adding size and strength. There are concerns how he will fair against physical corners or running routes over the middle of the field.
Most Impressive: This is one explosive receiver that is dangerous with the ball after the catch. His body control is incredible. Cooks' work habits and effort are off the charts and he excels under pressure. A lot of really fast receivers don't have good hands; that is not the case with this speedy wideout.
Conclusion: Look for an offensive coordinator to find ways to get him the ball early in his career. His combination of speed and hands makes him nearly impossible to cover in off man. Cooks will find the soft underbelly of zone defenses.
