Scouting Report on Bryce Webster

Webster has the potential to be a very good big man on the high-major level. He has size, desire and decent feet and hands. He does need to tone up his body and improve his foot speed.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."

Webster wins dunk contest impressively06/24/2006

Last weekend at the Inner City All-Star Classic, Gopher recruit Bryce Webster won the dunk contest putting on a show. He didn't win it over athletic guards and wings because they missed dunks like other big men have in the past, Bryce won because he stunned the crowd with some excellent jams that had the stands on their feet and player and fans on the floor running in to get a closer look.
