    • With the UFC invading Sydney for UFC 127, the media was on hand as fighters Matt Mitrione, Jon Fitch, Stephan Bonnar, James Te Huna and Kyle Noke met with Sydney's rugby team, the Roosters.

For a former football defensive tackle, Mitrione showed some pretty good hands with the larger rugby ball (Fanhouse video). Although the narrator in this Roosters' video said, the fighters "weren't really impressing with the ball."

Mitrione and fellow Purdue Boilermaker Stephan Bonnar reminisce about the drunken days at Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium. Mitrione was playing for Joe Tiller, so he wasn't the drunken viewer. He also loved the grass at the Sydney Roosters' stadium.

If you're wondering what Steggles sells, fittingly, it's a poultry company.

Check out all of Tracy Lee's photos from the event.

    • Yahoo! exclusive video: TUF 13 tryouts

Spike takes you behind the scenes of the Las Vegas tryout for Season 13 of "The Ultimate Fighter." It's a pressure cooker with hundreds of aspiring fighters getting just a few minutes to show off their skills.

Included this bunch, that showed up back in November at the Red Rock Casino, were a 51-year-old, a K-1 veteran coming back from open heart surgery and a U.S. Army captain, who just returned from Iraq in April.

    • Lesnar picks Fitch; White can already see his nightmare on the horizon

It's all coming together perfectly. Georges St. Pierre could be leaving the welterweight division soon and the man to beat will be Jon Fitch. Fitch is a great fighter, but seems to drive UFC management, led by the president Dana White, nuts because he usually wins by decision. When it was time for Junior dos Santos and Brock Lesnar, on the set of Season 13 of "The Ultimate Fighter," to pick UFC 127's main event they had trouble deviating from the usual Fitch script.

Both fighters picked Fitch to take out B.J. Penn via decision. That's not surprising since Fitch has won five straight decisions and his last eight have gone the distance. What was surprising was Lesnar actually throwing down some Fitch knowledge. when he made his selection, he seemed to be aware of Fitch's game.

Each time Lesnar has been asked in the past to pick a fight, it's clear he really doesn't own a computer or watch much television. He fights, but doesn't watch the stuff.

    • Michael Bisping is looking to move from Great Britain and open a new Wolfslair Gym.

Where can he move where the fans love him? You know the answer, that place doesn't exist.

Not to be harsh, but the British middleweight just rubs people the wrong way with his general disposition and trash talk before fights. Even 12,000 miles away from his home in England, he was booed lustily during his fight at UFC 110 in Sydney.

Bisping is back in the Australia's largest city and says this time he may not leave. The 31-year-old's wife is Australian and they're strongly considering making their permanent home down under.

"I might be moving Down Under but I'm not gonna kiss anyone's arse to do it," Bisping told The Telegraph of Sydney. "But for those people who wanna chant 'Bispin's a wanker', yeah, they can go and ... well, you know."

That's actually tame compared what he once said in Zoo Magazine about his last Aussie fight experience. According to The Telegraph, Bisping said:

    • Sandro, elite featherweight free agent, coming to U.S. with Bellator

Sengoku continues to leak oil. The struggling Japanese fight promotion lost one its biggest stars when Marlon Sandro signed with the U.S.-based Bellator Fighting Championships.

Sandro, the former Sengoku 145-pound champ, is 17-2 with his only two losses coming in his last fight against Hatsu Hioki, and current UFC fighter Michihiro Omigawa. The loss to Omigawa was scored a majority draw, but the promotion had a "must win" provision and awarded the fight to the Japanese fighter. Some rankings had him as high as No. 2 in the world before the December loss to Hioki.

"Marlon Sandro is a phenomenal talent at 145," Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney stated. "Our featherweight division is absolutely stacked, and Sandro pushes that talent pool to an even higher level. I'm thrilled to have him on board."

Before the Hioki loss, he'd scored three straight knockout victories. The one below in nine seconds against Masenori Kanehara (1:51 mark), 38 seconds against Tomonari Kanomata (1:41 mark)

    • Silva's odd drug test may save Vera from chopping block

With the mystery of Thiago Silva's drug test from UFC 125 continues to go unsolved, MMAjunkie is now reporting that the Nevada State Athletic Commission will soon overturn his victory over Brandon Vera and turned it into a "no contest."

Vera's contract was terminated by the UFC. If the fight is a no contest, that could mean the light heavyweight's status with the promotion is changed.

Heavy.com had a conversation with Vera about the loss and the news that Silva may have tested positive. There are also rumors that Silva submitted synthetic urine.

"I have no idea what’s going on," Vera stated on the latest episode of The Ryan Loco Show. "He could’ve tested positive for marijuana. I honestly don’t think that’s a performance enhancing drug. If he does test positive for some kind of strength enhancing substance, it would make me feel a little bit better about myself."

Vera said he works with an excellent camp and also rolls with the Nogueira brothers, but felt surprisingly weak under

    • Bisping in Australia for two weeks, is fired up to respond to Rivera videos

Michael Bisping is an easy guy to target in a war of words, so Jorge Rivera has jumped into the fray feet first. The American released a series of videos on YouTube (NSFW) poking fun at the Brit. Apparently, the vids have struck a nerve. during his training videos shot in Australia, Bisping addresses the mocking a few times. Gareth Davies from the U.K.'s Daily Telegraph, who covers Bisping pretty regularly, said Rivera's videos have energized the Brit.

Bisping is privately fuming that Rivera has been conducting a mocking campaign, being rude about his wife and children. “Completely disrespected,” are the words directly from Bisping. Prior to the smack talk, there were those in Bisping’s camp concerned that he was not taking the threat of Rivera strongly enough. The plan may backfire on Rivera.

Davies comes to the defense of Bisping, suggesting he's been unfairly targeted by some American fans and it might be time to back off.

That's half of Spike's normal numbers but the ION deal wasn't announced until a few days before the event and certainly doesn't have the coverage that Spike has and isn't well known to most television viewers.

    • Torres says it's time for Fedor to change things up or else

It's been a rough few weeks for Fedor Emelianenko. The former PRIDE heavyweight champ lost badly against Antonio Silva, then moments after the loss, said he might be done fighting. Last week, he admitted he'd spoken out of emotion and will probably return. Now comes the time for hard decisions says Miguel Torres. Fedor needs to shake things up or there's little sense in moving forward.

"When you man up, people will critique you and hate you for leaving, call you names and judge you for doing what's good for you," Torres told Fanhouse's Matt Erickson. "I feel Fedor's situation. It (freaking) sucks, but (crap) happens. All we can do is get better – and (screw) everyone else."

Fedor has always trained in Russia and has a tight knit training camp, but those old ways aren't working against the new breed of more athletic, bigger and well-rounded heavyweights.

"I say yes, (he needs to leave)," Torres said. "Russia will always be his home, but he lacks growth. Sometimes loyalty can hold
