On the Hoof: Has the look of a point guard: fairly thin up top with long arms.
Needs Improvement: Right now he is very thin so adding muscle and strength should help with durability. He could improve on staying lower in his backpedal, which will help with balance and change of direction. Mitchell will need to tackle lower at the next level or he’ll get run over.
Most Impressive: He possesses good speed and ball skills. Mitchell could project as a tall cover corner or free safety because he does have the recovery speed and hips to stay with most receivers.
Conclusion: Mitchell could get serious looks as a kick returner, and has special plays designed for him to touch the ball on offense. Look for early playing time for this speedster.
