On the Hoof: Shorter, muscled-up kid that looks a bit short to be a safety and won't wow you in street clothes. Lewis will remind fans of a slightly taller Bob Sanders of the Indianapolis Colts.
Needs improvement: Will he have the same impact as a tackler and run-stopper playing against bigger players at the next level? Lewis will have to improve overall strength and conditioning to be that run-supporting, hard-hitting safety in college. He also needs to improve his backpedal and overall cover skills, because he will be facing a lot of three- and four-wide situations.
Most impressive: He is a ferocious hitter that is looking to smash the ball carrier right in the mouth. Lewis also has a knack for coming up with turnovers and changing the complexion of the game in an instant.
Conclusion: Should become a stalwart on coverage teams early and throughout his collegiate career. He has the heart of a lion and if his size does not deter his ability to smack heads, he could become a serious heat-seeking missile that leaves opponents limping to the sideline.
