On the Hoof: Benedict has a barrel-chested upper body with long arms, all anchored by the most athletic legs you will ever see for a football player at any position.
Needs Improvement: Has only started for one season, so the more reps he gets his senior year, the closer he will get to being game-ready at the next level. As a pass protector, he needs to be less aggressive and willing to guide the defender using good hand placement and athletic footwork.
Most Impressive: Possibly the most athletic offensive lineman in the country. His testing numbers in every category are off the charts. Benedict also has the body and ability to play all five offensive line positions.
Conclusion: His versatility and athletic ability should land him on the two-deep from day one. How quickly he picks up the blocking schemes and his level of tenacity will dictate when he will become a first-team contributor.
