Scouting Report on Jamelle Horne

by Jerry Meyer - 06/19/2006
As this slashing forward's body matures, Horne is developing a nice blend of both a finesse and power game. He has the quickness and skill to be effective anywhere on the court. An all around player, he can score at all three levels and defend multiple positions. Does have room to improve as a passer off the dribble.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
