Athletes Send Condolences, React to Leicester City Owner's Death in Helicopter Crash

Leicester City confirmed Sunday that owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was killed in a helicopter crash outside the stadium Saturday.

The helicopter, which belonged to Srivaddhanaprabha, crashed outside King Power Stadium following the club's 1-1 draw against West Ham. Four other passengers onboard were killed.

The team issued a statement, thanking fans for their support and sending thoughts to the Srivaddhanaprabha family and the family of those onboard.

Fans for the club gathered around the stadium on Sunday to leave cards and flowers and express their condolences for the tragic situation.
