UNIONDALE, NEW YORK (TICKER) —Chris Jackson caught one touchdown and threw for another and the Philadelphia Soul registered a pair of defensive scores en route to a 59-30 victory over the New York Dragons on Sunday.
Jackson had nine receptions for 96 yards and tossed a 16-yard touchdown pass to Wes Ours, who also rushed for a 1-yard score.
Matt D’Orazio passed for 167 yards and three touchdowns for the Soul (13-3), who improved to 7-1 against Eastern Division foes.
Rod Davis had a 32-yard interception return for a touchdown just before the half and Eddie Moten scored on a 52-yard interception return for Philadelphia, which picked off New York quarterback Juston Wood three times.
Jason Willis made eight catches for 91 yards and a score for the Dragons (8-8), who will still be a sixth seed in the National Conference playoffs, while the Soul secured the top seed.
