NFL star J.J. Watt had been quietly dating professional soccer player Kealia Ohai for about a year before going public with their love in January. The pair, who met through Watt’s Houston Texans teammate Brian Cushing (Cushing is married to Ohai’s older sister Megan), are “very happily dating” while balancing busy training and traveling schedules, a source tells PEOPLE. “We’re both very proud of each other and what we both do,” Watt, 28, told PEOPLE at a pre-Super Bowl event in February.
For the first time since Michigan State announced in early February that it had suspended three football players amid a sexual assault investigation, Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio addressed the media Tuesday. MSU will play its annual spring game on Saturday, but Dantonio, who previously had only issued a statement Feb. 28 saying he was “extremely concerned” about the situation, made it clear early on that he wouldn’t be talking about football. With something as serious as a sexual assault investigation looming over the program, Dantonio said it would be “trivial” to discuss on-the-field matters like the team’s quarterback battle.
The quarterback has changed. Denver is still squarely inside that Super Bowl window. There’s no denying the Broncos still have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, including a defense that still appears to be Super Bowl ready.
